The possibility of the fast response biological sensor development based on composite of the single-wall carbon nanotubes and aptamers and purposed for specific detection of proteins has been shown. The effect of the surface modification of the single-wall carbon nanotubes on the sensor sensitivity has been investigated. It has been demonstrated that the carboxylated nanotubes have better sensitivity for thrombin detection.
