The method of formalization of the information systems integration processes has been proposed. This method is based on the description of their interaction processes using the set theory. As the integration the process of combining the information belonging to different systems is understood. The method permits to realize the qualitative assessment of possible integration methods and to forecast the properties of the integrated systems.
