The possibility of organizing networks of multiservice subscriber access based on the Ethernet technologies has been studied. The analysis of the traffic management in the Ethernet networks has been performed. The most important problems, requiring a solution, have been determined. A generalized approach for solving the problem of the multimedia multi-channel traffic transfer in the Ethernet network subscriber area has been proposed.
