A method of reducing the «speckle» noise in radar images has been proposed. It is based on the identification and exclusion of noisy image pixels. The excluded pixels are replaced by the averages over the nearest neighbors. The original resolution is preserved.

The method for reducing the influence of the secondary lobes during compression of the noise-like signals, such as M-sequences, has been proposed. The method is based on averaging the response signals from a number of the cyclic shifted M-sequences. The method is applicable in the radar systems with the digital synthetic aperture antenna.

The peculiarities of the hardware implementation of the digital signal synthesizers applied to two radar systems - the moving-target indication system in the Pulse-Doppler radar and the target detection system in the chirp radar - have been investigated. The numerical estimate of the required precision and the hardware costs in the development of the sine-cosine generators in the digital signal synthesizers has been given.
