It has been shown how the thermal-mechanical effects, accompanying the surface mounting technique and the strain effect in the resistive element, result in variation of the normalized value of the acceptable deviation and the resistance instability. In the calculations, a number of the restrictions and assumptions, acceptable for the most commonly used in home industry materials -sitall CT50-1-1-0.6, BK-91-2 ceramics, steklotekstolit STF-1, cermet K20C, have been used.

The possibility and necessity of the theory of electrical contacts application while considering the electrical conductivity in macroscopic structures have been shown. As a component of the resistive film electrical resistance an introduction of the resistance due to electrical current constriction between the contacting surfaces of heterogeneous structural formations has been proposed.
