The method of the high vacuum-thermogravimetric analysis in an external electric field has been developed to determine the cathode magnetron activation parameters. The kinetic researchers of the catalytic vaporization and catalytic oxidation have been carried out, the thermion emission current of palladium-barium cathode being considered at the activation temperature. The oscillatory behavior of mass change has been detected. The synchronous changes in the thermion emission current were observed as well.
