The results of study on the current transformer based on the ferrite core have been presented. For measuring signal the microcontroller with the integrated 10-bit ADC and the digital clamp meter MT87of precision class 3% has been used. It has been shown that the current transformer in the saturation mode permits to measure the current one order higher than that one measured by the current transformer in the nominal mode.
