It has been experimentally demonstrated that the temperature in the centre of the actuator is higher than that one on the surface for 10-40°C and has reached 50-140°C, when the specific load was 50-100 W/cm. This shows that 25-45% of the input energy transforms into heat. The electrical breakdown and delamination of passive ceramic layers were the main reasons for failure of the actuators.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Получено аналитическое выражение для расчета температуры внутри и на поверхности пьезоэлемента с учетом распределенного тепловыделения.
